2. Profile: is an international Catholic lay ecclesial movement, whose goal is to renew & strengthen Christian family life & values. It is one of the 122 international associations of the faithful. The organization is affiliated with the Vatican recognition from the Pontifical Council for the Laity. CFC traces its origin to Manila, Philipines and its outreach to evangelise married couples. It is a movement intended for the renewal & strengthening of Christian family life. The members have committed themselves to the LORD & to one another, so that they may grow in maturity as men & women of GOD & fulfill their primary vocation of raising up families under the Lordship of JESUS CHRIST & for the service of the kingdom of GOD.

4. Eligibility to Join: Any married Konkani speaking Catholic couple can become members.

5. Aim of the Association: CFC wants to rise in defense of the family, which is God’s work. CFC wants to bring God’s strength & light to those who are struggling to be truly Christian families in the modern world.

6. Work done by the Associations: As couples renew their commitment to God, they also renew their commitment to one another and to their Christian family life. Gradually the new life that they find in the Lord filters down to all their family relationships.

7. Reach of the Association: A well defined programme is set for all meetings during various intervals and fixed days of the week. The activities consists of household meetings, retreats, Orientation programmes, talks on various topics concerning spiritual and family aspects, Agape, Fem weekend for ladies, Family day

8. Number of Members: 4 Couples and 3 singles (Total 11 members)

9. Meeting Timings: Joint meetings of both Household groups on 4th Sundays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the meeting room or in the classroom

a. Visit to Sneha Sadan (Kondivita and Jogeshwari) and programmes like dance, action songs, jokes etc. to be conducted for them.
b. Visit the sick in hospitals.
c. Visit to the home for the aged at Mahakali
d. Practices of Konkani choir for the 2nd & 4th Sunday Konkani Mass
e. Picnic once a year.
f. Celebration of Mother Mary’s birthday.
